Avoid dark colors like black, navy blue, forest green, and dark brown as these colors make the entrance less appealing and therefore uninviting. Finally, put out a new mat. find one that is big enough to cover the entire entrance way. Use a natural fiber mat over a plastic mat as the plastic get slippery when wet. A natural fiber door mat will welcome guests and keep out dirt.
